Overall: Implementation Phase (Production-Ready Components)

Following the Section 3 research pass (RESEARCH_PHASE3.md) and the 2026-05-30 upstream feasibility audit (FEASIBILITY_AND_GAPS_2026-05-30.md), MVGAL is in active implementation. The project contains kernel, runtime, API interception, tooling, packaging, and test scaffolding. Transparent heterogeneous aggregation remains capability-limited and must fall back to explicit multi-device scheduling, DMA-BUF/host-staging transfers, or single-GPU pass-through when a workload cannot be split safely.
